STRUCTURAL STEEL IN WASHERY

This project involved the replacement of existing floor structural steel in a coal mine washery. The existing structural members were severely corroded and required replacement. Draftsite was engaged to site measure up the all structural steel in that area, and provide details for structure including brackets, cleats and holes to connect the new structural members to the existing plant and equipment in that area.

Draftsite created a 3D model of proposed works, and then created detailed shop fabrication drawings and site plans complete with all cleats and items laid out, and DXF files for profile cutting of plates. The structural steel assemblies were manufactured, painted and delivered to site. The new steelwork was successfully installed during shut down.

Draftsite has approximately 30 years’ experience structural steel fabrication and erection. Over the years I have personally been involved with the design, fabrication and installation of hundreds of different types of structures and miscellaneous parts. Draftsite will work with Client to achieve a solution that will suit Client requirements and budget.

Please contact Draftsite the next time you need any structural steel drafting, or mechanical engineering drawings.
